Cooking is something that I love to do for my husband and my dogs. I’ll post pictures of the food that I prepared for them in separate posts. There were some hits and misses, something normal for me because I am not yet a pro when it comes to cooking. But I am glad that my husband is honest with his feedback especially when he loves the food I put on the table.
But the case is different when it comes to our dogs. Of course the dogs cannot talk, but I saw how happy they are as they continuously wag their tails and focus on the food my husband give them. We still buy and serve various dry dog food variety and Pedigree wet food to them and alternate these with cooked vegetables.
What about you? Do you enjoy cooking for your family and pets? What do you usually serve them with?
I’m used to eat fish cooked with sauce, soup and filling (when grilled) but now I am trying to eat steamed fish. Yes, choosing one of the healthier ways to cook my favorite fish.
I will post pictures of my version of steamed tilapia but I just want to share how this helps me control my food intake. I seldom eat rice now and just pair this with lemon water and I feel full.
Have you tried this dish when you went on a diet?
Cooked a quick and simple dinner for the love of my life.
Quick And Simple Spaghetti - Photo by MJ Ces
I would prefer to have the white sauce for my spaghetti but since we just ran out of cream and milk for the recipe, I just settled by using the ever dependable ready made spaghetti sauce for this one. Simple, quick and easy. Best of all, he liked it.
Got a bag of local coffee from my Father-in-law. That one came from Batangas, a province known to produce great quality local coffee. I bet coffee makers from http://www.coffeemakers.com/ will definitely love these local coffee granules.
Great for fresh from the oven bread and coconut jam or peanut butter. After this, I will definitely share some to my Mom as she loves to drink coffee better than me. She will definitely love these treat from me.
