Holli Ugalde Not In Savoy After Hell’s Kitchen

I thought it is going to be a bed of roses for Holli Ugalde after winning Season 7 of Hell’s Kitchen. But I am afraid not at all.

I just read an article about what happened to Holli months after winning the prestige of Hell’s Kitchen. She was promised to have the position of Head Chef in Savoy in London.

Ramsay, 44, has claimed that Ugalde could not be given the position because the Home Office failed to approve her visa application.

As of what I know today, she is working for a restaurant, still in the US. She still has her kid with her, one of the reasons why she want to win the prize in the first place.

After we beat the heat and all the hassles just to cast our right as a citizen, let us also remember that part of our responsibility is to be a watchdog. With that in mind, they will strive to do their best to keep their promise and not to be too complacent. After all, they’re there to serve the country, right?
