They say that celebrating valentines day is something that can only be done in a grand setup. You know, going on a fine dining date, watching movies on high end theaters and spending time watching concerts and other valentine events.

I also want to go this route, but not as excited to do it though, because in my opinion, you can still celebrate this romantic occasion and save a lot of money in the process. This does not mean that you will sacrifice the quality of your celebration though. Here are some of the ways to do it:
- Look for recipes that you want to eat and cook it at home. This will allow you to really enjoy the food that you want to eat and have enough portions and servings that can even last until the next day. How cool is that?
- Have a movie marathon with your loved ones. This is really exciting especially when you have an entertainment room in the first place. Remember to prepare a bucket of popcorn for a complete movie experience.
- Visit your favorite charitable institution. The best way to express our love is to share our blessings to others in need. So get up and visit one near you or contact your preferred institution to set an appointment with them, if necessary.
Is there something that you want to quickly add to the list?
