You can prepare a refreshing shake, take a bath twice or thrice a day, wear comfortable clothes or even purchase Ladies Hats if you need to go out for a long time. Of course, getting your own umbrella will help, but if you want to have a hassle free way of protecting your head and hair outside, then wearing hats is the best option for you.

How about you? What other tips can you add to beat the summer heat?

Empire Waist Pettibone Wedding Dress

Posted on

empire-waist-pettibone In my previous post I shared how I wanted to wear a comfortable yet stylish wedding gown. I put a premium more on comfort over style whenever I buy my clothes. And this will be the same thing that I’ll remember as I choose my wedding gown.

I am so into styles like empire waist wedding gowns because this will fit my body more and will hide my fuller curves ;)

Empire waists are flattering to just about any body type and give a much softer look than more structured desses with boned bodices.

This style is a design made by Claire Pettibone. I really fell in love with this design as soon as I saw this online. I just have to let the designer see this lovely piece so he can come up with some immediate adjustments.

I also love the long ribbon placed near the bustline. Oh I am so much excited to finally wear this one on my special day! :)

Now, I just have to browse for a small, yet good piece to hide my arms and complement the over all look :) How about you?

  • What style of wedding dress did you wear on your wedding day?
  • Was it easy for you to settle on one design?
  • How did you go about looking for some wedding gown inspirations?

I know those are a lot of questions but I just want to know more about your experience looking for your dream wedding gown. :) Feel free to share your thoughts here okay? :)

Still Looking for a Wedding Gown

Posted on

ashten-dressFour months to go and I will be walking down the aisle. :)

We already booked the major suppliers and are about to meet them again this month to review some preference on certain details.

Am I excited? You bet. :)

But we still have some ongoing projects to do that is why we are still working on those while we are gently pushing with our wedding preparations.

For the meantime, I’d like you to check out the wedding gown that I saw online. I want to look for some other similar cut for my wedding gown inspiration.
