Planning To Lose Weight With Balanced Nutrition And Regular Exercise

Posted on

My husband and I are trying to lose weight and we find it really challenging to do because we are both working from home. We may be moving around at home, doing all the cleaning and stuff to keep ourselves active, but we believe that doing this is not enough.

That’s when we thought of some ways to track what comes inside our bodies. We read books on planning balanced diet and securing proper nutrition by choosing the best food to eat. After doing some more reading, we decided to sit down and discuss what we can do about it. Here’s the plan.

Weigh in before everything else. This is to record our current weight and compare it as we go about our diet and exercise plans.

Write our menu plan for the week. This is something that we do not do often, as we just eat what we want to eat or buy meat and produce when we want to and cook what comes to mind at the time. Now, we have to write everything down. This will also help us set and follow a budget while enjoying nutritious and balanced meals everyday.

Set a budget for vitamins and meal replacement as well. I believe that we also need to take these since we may not get all the vitamins and nutrients that we need from the food that we eat. This is a wise way to make sure that we get nourished well, which we will definitely need since we are planning to do more strenuous activities like regular exercising, dancing and yoga sessions.

Hopefully we get to meet our fitness goals while enjoying healthy food and taking just the right meal replacement and vitamins to sustain our energy. What about you? What are you doing to keep yourself nourished and healthy?
