Tomorrow Sunday will be Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Miguel Cotto and I wish him the best of luck. Or perhaps he does not need any luck as he is really a great fighter. With all those titles he currently holds and at different weight divisions, he is no doubt the best pound for pound fighter in the world.
The event will be held in Las Vegas and yesterday, news of our local politicians arriving there to watch the fight have filled the radio stations I was listening to while I was driving home. These are very rich people and I will not be surprised that after the fight, they might even visit Reno for a little bit more gambling. Not that Las Vegas is not already a gambler’s haven.
I just hope they will not be using people’s money.
